Not applying now but am curious whether DW's NFCO AMEX being on my report as an AU would prevent me from getting another NFCU card. See my cards in Sig. I am under the impression that there is a 3 card limit but could be remembering that wrong.

They do have a three card limit but AUs don’t count towards it.
Thank you, I suspected that to be the case. Have been curious about it. I will likely go for my own Amex at the 12 month mark of last card in Dec or so. Should be in high 600's at least by then. DW received her $15k Amex with a 600 +/- TU while her $1k secured was still secured by the way.

You have the Flagship so I wouldn’t be concerned about getting approved for the More Rewards if it was me.
It would seem right? They gave me that in my offers section when I went from 550 to 590 TU09 in a month last Dec. Crazy man, crazy.
I might wait a bit for a better chance at a big limit. Not that I need it but you know the deal. Never know with Navy, could get that now.

Honestly with NFCU, I wouldn't wait. Even if you don't get the limit you want right away, 91/3 will give you whatever is left on the table. Its not like Chase where you either pray for auto or take an HP and pray anyway or Citi with a fraction of what they actually deem you worthy of. There is benefit in waiting with many FIs but NFCU isn't one of them.
