Uh oh.
Applied as a baddie just dropped off of EX, and got this:
We’re sorry but we’re unable to give you a decision at this time
Basically, said that the app is under review.
What do you guys think?
That's the card I have always wanted......I hear it one of the hardest card to acquire...curious to read opinions on this one
Review does not equal denial on this one. My application went to review before it was approved.
you should call the BofA backdoor, I think almost all apps for fidelity go to review.

@Agree with @wacdenney.. They probably just need to manually review it. But ring them as CreditAddict suggested.

Curious why it would be hard as well...
Would having a cash mgmt acct and 401k at Fidelity make for a better position? Or do they not see it at all... just BofA's UW?

Yeah, I've read other posters here say it's the easiest Amex to get, because it's issued by FIA/BoA, not Amex.
You pretty much have to have a Cash Management Account because to get the 2% cash back it has to be deposited into a CMA. I recently transferred $3500 into an IRA with them but will wait to app for the Amex - I'm prequalifying for a new mortgage, and once my current house sells I'll be transferring a bunch more $$$ to them - I've looked at the app page and you include your CMA # in the app, so I would think the more $$$ you have in the account, the better your odds for approval.

Good luck with the house!
I just opened a CMA a few weeks ago; gotta start diversifying my investments.
If I was to get this Fidelity card... I'll probably be opting for the black one. One recurring info I've been reading about is the payment options for the card. They talk about how FIA is a pain to make payment towards. InvestorJunkie has an article on the Visa counterpart from 9/2014 and the comments are abit disturbing regarding the FIA site for payments.
I'll probably still be pursuing this card in the near future and form my own opinions

The FIA site is basically the same shell used by BofA with less options. Yes comparitively speaking it is minimal to say the least but it's not difficult to make payments. One thing credit card companies will always tend to make easy for you is sending them money.
