So between April 7-9 (dont remember what day) i applied for the Venture card to try and press my luck even though i kinda knew it would be a denial. Well waiting for my denial letter and i get an email stating its ready and can be viewed online. I check my email and enter the credentials it asked for. It gave me someone elses denial letter...like what? I check my CR and i see HP on TU and EQ. I contact them via FB and they tell me thats not right and its a glitch. They then tell me they cannot locate my application....I know i entered my information and SSN correctly. I triple checked. Like i know that denial letter wasnt mine since it said: Dear (not my name) and delinquincies on EQ, EX, TU....i have 0 baddies.  

So now im wondering whats my next step? Im still chatting with them on FB but they seem to be kinda hopeless. I got the HPs (i think there was only 2 done. I didnt see anything on EX. Only TU & EQ)

Also still no denial letter...

Ummm, yeah that's kinda bad if someone else's PI displays with the link provided for yours.  Have you engaged the EO? Perhaps as a last resort if FB channel isn't gaining any traction?

Thanks, i think i might have to call the EO, yeah i think they really messed up when im the one getting the email that says "Hi (actual name) your letter is ready" and then checking it and its someone elses. Whats odd is that the credentials asked for my SSN and birthdate and displayed someone elses information...how does that happen. I think someone dropped the ball. Maybe they will approve me for their mistake

make sure you get a screen shot of that huge mistake .. Send it to them of course..

FB for Cap1 is worthless now a days for the most part it is best to email them and have them contact you or if you already have the # from previous engagements with them, feel free to call it.

I have received 3 of those e-amils top "Access your letter"

I log in and never shows ANYTHING.

I'm on hold with EO now to see if she can find and confim with me the system is auto kicking my apps out for to many apps within a certain period and hopefully find out the date that I actually can apply again!

I work at another big CC company -- we outsource our social media response to a PR agency, so I wouldn't consider sending a serious inquiry that way. I'm also not a big fan of reaching out to the executive office because I'm the kind of person you'd reach and I'd feel completely out of my league handling something like this. You need a call a backdoor number and immediately ask for an escalation to manager level. This is a serious privacy breach and they should be freaked out that this happened. If someone seems even slightly unhelpful, mention the CFPB and help will come running your way.

well it seems the computer thinks I have a pending app so it won't let other apps go through so she is going to escalate that and try to get whatever app thinks is pending removed - I don't have any pending and she sees that so it's odd.

while I was at it I said how can I not get approved for a Saks store account when I have 4 cap1 including this new venture one and a neiman marcus account... seems little odd not to get a $500 store account... she is going to have that manual reviewed also
