Told myself I was gardening, but you know how that is. Only card I really wanted was a Home Depot card, and never passed their online pre-qual (because I'm sure # of inquiries) so didn't try. Had plenty of love with Lowes. Respectable scores in the 720's, but high on inquries as I've recently traded some lower tier lines for better tier lenders.
Fast forward to yesterday when I got an email saying I was pre-qualified. Apped and was approved. But having credit monitoring in multiple places *nothing* tripped that they had HP'ed me. Is their application a SP?
Thanks.
Oh they will pull a HP, it might take a day or 2 to show up but it will.

OP - Did the HP show up?
No, not yet. Interesting because Between Discover Scorecard, Amex MyCredit, CapOne CreditWise, an Experian account, and several other CC's/Accounts I usually get lit up like Xmas when there's a HP.
Home Depot definitely has an account set up, I have a username/login, albeit can't access until I get the card and can plug in the CVV. But it takes the login then prompts for that once in. That and emails saying I'll get the card in 7-10 days. Add to that I have no other CITI accounts, so it's not like they SP'ed from an existing.
Thank you for this info. I am itching to request for CLI on Home Depot, I opened the account June 2017 and never received an auto CLI. Will hold off isnce don't want an HP.

Requesting cli with Home Depot will be a hp
+1. I've learned that just about anything Citi is a HP, co-brand or not.
Actually I never had an HP with CITI with my Double Cash.. all requested online..
