They seem to be pretty solid provided nothing negative or major has occurred on your CRs whenever they performed the most recent (PRM) SP.

I believe they're solid. I had that same offer when I applied, but got a horrrrrrrible limit. They refused to budget on the limit as well when I reconned it. So now I use the card randomly here and there.

I used the Pre-approval page a couple of weeks back and it recommended 3 cards (I had had never had recommendations up until this point). I applied for one of the cards and it was declined... YMMV

It may have been too many recent inquiries.

That would do it; they are quite conservative in that regard.  However, it would have been possible to talk to someone in Underwriting Services and get the denial reconsidered by explaining the reason(s) for the inquiries.

But that's not the same thing as "pre-qualified" or "pre-approved."
