I Want an SPG AMEX...Best Way To Proceed from Optima?

Ok, so I've decided I want to apply for the SPG AMEX card. I've been on the AMEX Oasis rebuilding program for just over a year now. I've been told by people on this board that when you request a cli from AMEX they do a hard pull. I'd like the SPG AMex, i'd like to request a cli on my low limit Optima, and I'd also like to apply for an AMEX Everyday card.

What's my best course of action, with the least amount of damage? If I apply for the SPG card, and Every Day card, back to back, and then call AMEX and request a cli on my Optima, will only 1 hardpull be used for all 3?

Should I call AMEX 1st and ask if I'm even eligibble for a cli and to apply for the other cards? Is that something they can answer for me, without doing a hard pull?

I think I read somewhere on this forum that when currently enrolled in the Oasis you'd have to close that card out first and apply for the regular cards. I could be wrong though.

No, it was NOT a hard pull. I was told by others on this board that it would be, ut AMEX confirmed to me its only a soft pull.

Does anyone know if I apply for a 2nd card, will it be the same hard pull? And if so, how long of a window do I have for that?
