Including Chase in a mini App Spree

Got a dumb question. So applied this morning for a CSP, got instantly approved. My plan was to apply for that card and also an AMEX EveryDay card, but didn't think I'd get instantly approved for the CSP.  Would it be OK for me to app for the AMEX today or should I wait a couple of days?

Not a dumb question at all. If your profile supports it and the ED fits the bill for you, go ahead and apply. No need to wait.

Thanks for the reply! I know some lenders are skittish so I just wasn't sure if Chase is one that might decline a new approval if they see you app for another card.  The CSP is the more important one to me, the AMEX is just for the balance transfer and to get in the door with MR points, so don't want to jeopardize the CSP over the AMEX, even though I'd like both. 

Edit: Just for some clarity, last card I app'd for before today was like 5 months ago, and I'm only planning on applying for these two cards.

You’re fine to apply today. I’m not sure why a pending application with Chase would be better when apping for the Amex....

Yea, I was overthinking it. I figured if it was pending, all they'd see is the inquiry when they pulled, but if it was approved they'd see more (even though I know the card won't report for a bit). Idk, first time going for multiple cards that I actually care about getting approved for, haha.
