I have a few NFCU products (love them) and my most recent, the CashRewards card, was around the 90ish daymark since originally applied so I decided to hit the CLI button. Recieved the 24 hour review msg, Immidiatly called in and asked to withdraw the request since I dont want a HP. Rep said, it was "auto declined" for "account too new" and there was no HP and will not be any HP. I said this doesnt sound right as this has not been my experience in the recent past. She put me on hold and checked with the loan dept, they confirmed. This didnt sound right from everything I've learned on this forum and from my own previous experience on other NFCU products and cli's etc. So....I called back to speak to a different rep, she revied the notes and came back and said the exact same thing. "Auto declined for account too new" no HP. She said you can try again in a few days...if its still too new, it will continue to auto decline with no HP. There has been no HP alert from any bureau.
Thoughts anyone??
