I have the Charles Schwab Amex Card, and his income was somewhere between $15k-$20k, so in that respect you are fine I think.

What is the TU FICO from your Discover card?
DD got the BCE as first credit card (she is AU in a few of our cards for 2.5 years), 6K SL with 10K income.
I bet if you wait for 9 months history your SL will be better than 6 months.
Do you have an open loan? You could get extra FICO points if you don't and you use the SSL technique.

I don't have a score yet. I"m like 5 months in. I'm waiting till my score generates before I get SSL.What was DD's credit score if you don't mind me asking.
Yes you can, I apply for a EveryDay Card with only 7 months and 5K/year income and was approved, but at that time my expirian score was 750 (yes 750 with only 7 months of history)
@Subexistence wrote:I'm curious if it's possible to land Amex BCE with just 6 months history. I heard people can get it in their low 600 scores and so how much of a chance would someone with a high score but limited history have? Also I'm college student with independent income.
I think it's possible. I had about 7 months history when I was approved. I think with decent scores and a good history on your other cards you could be approved. My BCE was my. highest starting limit at 10,000. At the time my scores were around 680s

Good, that SSL will help you. DD's score was 770 with AUs only.
Thanks for the replies. I think I'll be going for it.
Credit karma scores are just for your info purposes only. dont beleive them as the final fico. they differ person to person.
i got to know from my friend. his CK score is 50-60 points low when compared to his fico scores.
mine is just opposite. CK scores are 30-40 points more than my fico. my 2 cents.
