You mean, I shouldn't get the OpenSky secured card?   I was starting to rethink that.  Thanks for the recommendation on the Alliant loan. I'll look into that. 

I updated my signature with goals. I want a 740+ FICO, to increase my total credit limits to 30k and to get a mortgage in a couple yrs.

Another secured card is completely overkill unless you like tying up your cash for no reason. I have one secured card for about 8 months now for $500 and am closing it next week. In the past eight months, I've received 4 unsecured cards. It looks like everyone on this thread is telling you not to get any more secured cards.
