Irish,
Happy St. Paddies Day!
Does the PLOC report on the CRs? How? Only if it's used?
I'm not unfreezing Ex for NASA until some new $5K+ TLs report prolly in the next 30 days.
Just curious what PLOCs effect are on CRs
I was in the same situation with my credit union. after 3 month went and applied for a cc and was denied. Big flat no: with the same " limited credit experience blah blah blah".
So I went to BoA applied for a secured card with 2000 limit graduated to an unsecure card 8 months later and went back they approved me for a 5k cc.

Almost the big day. I'm ready and have my drinking boots all shined up.
I don't have a PLOC from them but I assume it's like other credit unions. It reports regardless of whether you use it or not as shows as a line of credit
Yes, that is correct. The NASA PLOC reports to all CRs as Line of Credit, whether it has a balance or not.
sidenote, bait and switch thread subjects are not cool lol

I was approved for NASA products last week. I became a member in October of 2014. I wasn't ready to apply for anything as I was getting my utilization down. That was a soft pull as you already know. When I applied for CC'S Feb. 24, 2015 it was a hard pull on EX the score NASA used to extend me credit is the mortgage score. For me this was 736 and they gave me 31K in credit over 2 cards my utilization is down to 1% I hope this helps.
What she said...
Membership in Nov, appd for cc immediately, denied. Scores, high 690's, low 700's. Can't remember the reason.
2 wks, app'd again, HP on EX, denied. They pulled a 686 EX which was my mortgage score on EX. Sucked because myFico EX 08 was 717 and the EX Bankcard 08 was 729.
Single Reason for denial: "Too many open revolving accounts and /or borrowing capacity". $150k+ available credit, $100k income.
I sent a recon letter via their 'emailbox' secure messaging on the 4th...haven't heard anything back yet.
I sent another letter a couple days ago....still no response concerning a recon of the denied CC app.
Not really too concerned at this point....just trying to not waste that HP.
WTH is their dealio?

Recons are difficult and slow with them. Apparently they have some committee that meets every so often to look at reconsiderations
