They did the same thing to me, I took the advice and turned off auto cli.
It's a moot point for me now, as I made another mistake with this one...(falsely) assumed the BT 0% for a year was good for, well, a year...did not know you have to initiate said BT within the first 30 days to qualify for the 0%.
I planned to move over a balance that changes from 0% to 6.9% next month for the remaining 9 months of my introductory rate from NFCU. Wrong answer. Woe is me (again).

For some reason i'm thinking of that bugle noise that plays when debbie downer makes a statement, WHAAA WHAAA.
Seriously thank you for posting this stuff , i usually dont read the fine print well and would probably do the same.
Yep always read the fine print. It explains how they will try to weasel out of their agreement if you try pushing it. Banks are even more willing to cancel contracts if you go outside the terms than insurance companies. They just are extra happy to approve if you follow what is written.

@Fletcher2 The bt offer i see at nfcu for the platinum card has to be initiated within *60 DAYS* not 30.
Do you have the platinum? If so and its under the current offer then its 60 days not 30.
