I have two NFCU cards a Visa and a Mastercard both were formerly secured cards current unsecured limit of $2000.00 each and I suspect I screwed myself by not closing them and just reapplying. I just received another decline when requesting a thousand dollar increase on the Visa with the reason
"You've Reached Navy Federal's maximum unsecured credit limit" received the letter just days after being approved for a $15,000 NFCU Amex card.
I'm just going to pay them and let them sit dormant, I don't think stagnant low credit limits help. Maybe if we all started closing accounts for that response
