Thanks!
I received an email this morning for my 3rd card. I was approved.
NFCU Flagship - $15,000 SL (Requested $25,000; approved for $19,000; no balance)
I'll share a DP:
applied and approved for the more rewards Amex back in November. Hit my 91/3 two weeks ago. I had a SL of $15k, requested $30k, i was giving a $4k increase so a total of $19k for that card. No HP for this request.
Right after my requested CLI for the more rewards card, i had applied for the Flagship Rewards same day. Instant approval of $15k SL @ 16.99% APR. TU was pulled for this card at time of application. My FICO 8 was 679 with 10 inq's.
My secured nRewards had graduated to a Cash Rewards unsecured card. Went from $200 to $2k CL. Didnt realize that was considered a CLI until after i had dug a bit more into the forums and had requested a CLI shortly after graduation. I received an email from NFCU that the request for a CLI was declined due to recent graduation. No HP for the CLI increase request.
FICO 9 EQ from NFCU website: 643 11 INQ's
EX FICO 8 671 from Experian app 10 INQ's

Thank you form the DP's and Congrats
Congratulations on your increases and new card. Was the 2nd navy card a hard or soft pull? I plan on applying for my second when the new sign up bonuses are available and was just curious. I thought soft pulls were for CLI only. Thanks

Every time you apply for a new card (you can have 3 cards max) its a HP. For the nRewards secured and More Rewards EQ is pulled. The flagship rewards they pull TU. Just remember to be mindful of the 91/3 rule for new applications and CLI requests.
NFCU prefers 6 months between CLI (many data points show this), i was lucky enough i got one after my 91/3 for my More Rewards card.
as of right now, CLI requests are still SP.
