Does it matter how long you have been a member when they do the AR? Also is it for sure 3 statements and not 90 days? I had my due date changed so they cut a statement early by about 15 days.

The consensus is 90 days and three statements before requesting a CLI. So if you third statement occurs before the 90 day wait till the 90 day and vice versa.

I've not seen a Navy AR since 2/28 on any CR. So it is indeed possible they are using the FICO scores to do CLIs if it meets a requirement. My guess is if the score isn't high enough they will pull.

@ 700orbust I don't understand them, I opted for the cli but got the 24hr message and then I applied for a new card and was instantly approved for $20k. I only wanted to increase my little $2.6k cash rewards card and they go and give me $20k on a new card, makes no sense to me!

Thats awesome. I hadn't asked for a CLI on my navy plat since 2011, finally did last month and went from 15 to 22k. The main reason I'd be interested in another card from them is either for a 0% promo or really for utilization benefits. My other goal on the navy plat is to get the rate reduced down.
