1 year.

update they gave me a 7k CLI to 17k, asked for the CLI only a few hours ago!
OK, that sux. Congrats on the increase.

I got a $1k increase on my Cash Rewards card. I requested a max of $4k. Still getting denied for their other cards even after 4th statement cutting. Oh well. Better than nothing I suppose.

What was your credit limit when you asked for the increase? I've heard they only allow a max of 3x your current limit.
So if you had a $500 credit limit, the maximum increase would be $1k, giving you a new credit limit of $1,500.

Every bit counts. Before long it will be a monster. My first Navy card was $500 CR. It now has grown to $33k![]()

Im not @Anonymous but not all inquiries are built the same. Ones credit profile, income, length of credit, dti, etc will help a lender decide if approval is warrented, even with tons of inqs. Some lenders will flat out deny on inqs alone but some wont. Some inqs may be spread out over 2 years as well. I still have 26 inqs on my EQ, as most lenders want my EQ, especially CU/Penfed boo, but most were over a year or more older. Just gotta hold on sanz apping to get it under control. Anyway, stronger profiles can get away with it mostly, newer ones not so much. Just my view though.

Has that happened to anyone. I never received an email or any notification after I attempted for a credit limit increase.
What actually happens after you hit the submit button?
It looks like this on the app (I didn't bother asking for much, I've been at their "maximum exposure limit" for a while now):
Lol yes thats what you would see unless its instant approval. Max exposure hasnt stopped me either Addie
. Unless you try you will never know how far you can go. 50k is my goal 😆
🥰😘
Mission accomplished
😃 😎 in approvals for relevant dps!
Just wanted to add to a possible Navy shift in cli policy.
Approved 8k on Plat #3 , $15k new limit, $7k previous ( original limit $3k , transferred $4k to complete a bt in Jan) other dps in approvals.
Navy is just absolutely the best. Pushes my overall exposure to $51k. Goal achieved 👏
