Wouldn't it be sweet to have this as a problem.

but Coney needs a business account.  Alliant doesn't do business checking accounts, right Baller? That's such a disapointment.  Otherwise, who the hell deposits 50k checks on a consistant basis?  Nuts!!

No business account for me, not in this instance. I'm not running a PLLC (although I could and maybe should be, but in fact being a sole practitioner, functionally its of limited benefit to me) checks are made out to me personally. I do have a separate (local, as required) business account for when I need to keep funds segregated.

I did open an Alliant account. In setting up bill pay and the few payees I did setup  (which under NFCU and TD Bank were paid electronically) I noticed that they were to be paid by check. I hope this isn't the same for all payees. One of the beauties of electronic payment is the assurance that the bill is paid exactly when you request and there is no check that can get lost in the mail etc.

@baller4life

That would be great and I sure hope so, it reads "Type of Payment:  Paper Check"

Re: Official Credit Unions Guide

I needed a basic savings account and wanted a relationship with a larger, non local, credit union. I chose NASA!

Baller, I know you hate them, but I really want one of those Visa space shuttle cards come spring/summer of 2017.

My application is currently pending. I'm guessing it's because it's Saturday? We shall see what happens...

Re: Official Credit Unions Guide

Yeah you should hear something Monday. As long as you don't have too much available credit in relation to your income you will be fine! Their space shuttle cards are pretty cool looking. I really wanted one. They didn't like ole baller though. 😞

Spaceships are overrated!

Save the NASA nightmare and go buy yourself a toy spaceship that you can play with until the cows come home. Then apply for a bad a#s Marvel credit card. Then you have a cool looking card and a friggin spaceship my friend. Smiley Very Happy

CreditLuv, do you have a NASA nightmare story as well? Do tell, were on the right thread for it...

Or do you just like playing with toy space ships? Lol

I'm curious as to your story.
