Ive noticed on both AMEX and CITI the pre-qualify option has been removed. Is this something recent due to COVID? Does anyone know of any other lenders that are still doing Pre-qualify?
Discover, HSBC and Amex was up this morning.

I noticed the same thing checking citi and chase
Capital One is available to prequalify.
The prequal was available on AMEX this eve. My BF got thumbs up, I then referred him and he got approved 2K with 225 bonus offer after 1K spend within 90 days (and I get 100 for the referral). His credit aside from auto loans is very young ~1yr. He started with Cap1 Platinum SL 300 CLI to 500 after 3 payments. Then the Discover Chrome SL 6K CLI to 9,900 after like 4 mos. Score today is lower 700s. ALSO- there is a Covid message on AMEX site "Card accounts approved from December 1, 2019 through May 31, 2020 for which you are eligible for a welcome offer, the period to make eligible purchases to earn your welcome bonus will be extended for an additional 3 months" so I guess that means he now has 6 months to meet the 1K spend. We are happy!
