I received my Capital One Journey today. I was expecting it to look like the image on their site: red, big Journey letters but it's the opposite. It is blue and VERY flimsy/thin.
This is a question for those who have had a Journey. Was your card arrival like this? A blue card pretty much blank saying Capital One at the top right and then VISA PLATINUM on the bottom right? Also, was your card easily bendable?
If it's an option with this particular card you can use their image card service for free to choose a good design. It will also be less flimsy.
I did this with Quicksilver because the default design is flimsy, flat and cheapy just like you are describing. I got my own design and it is a bit thicker with raised numbers so it doesn't feel as crappy. Still not the sturdiest card ever but it is way improved.

It's probably so horrible in my eyes because of having my sturdy Discover card next to it, comparing it.
I did request a design today, just have to wait for it, now. My other request was denied because it was a logo.
I was shocked to see the design of the card advertised was nothing like the default card that arrived, though.

The Journey I had was red and see thru.

Custom design? Or, default?

Sounds like they simply sent the wrong card. Do you care to send me a pic of the card with numbers blocked out via PM? Upload it to tinypic.

That's what I thought but they assured me it was the Journey when I called.
Sure, sending now.
