It's a soft pull, so roll the dice if you are past 61 days.  If it's a no, wait until at least the 6 months mark.

Where are you getting that information? I'm wondering because I just hit the love button on SGV, and on the CLI form it says:

"Please note we may need to access your credit report when considering your request. By submitting this request, you grant us permission to do so."

That's why I never go through with submitting it!

While a HP is still possible, most of those have occurred when processing the request through an agent. It's fairly rare for CLI HPs to occur if processed online or via the automated system.

For reference, countless DPs have been documented on the thread below:

Quite accurate. This first and recent SGV was SP online thru the luv button this month roughly 6 months which is as mentioned is on a longer schedule apart from their store cards but available for Retail Bankcards nonetheless.

Well, not in my case! Smiley Happy

I recently sent SGV a question via their secure mail asking about it, and they confirmed that there *is* a hard pull.

However, some time ago, on a different Comenity account (Woman Within), they gave me a CLI just by asking them the same question!  Go figure. Smiley Very Happy

As far as providing that disclosure, that's what they're trained to do (internal policy and regulatory requirements).

That said none of the Comenity CCs I have incurred any HPs, including the Sportsmans Guide Visa. Same for all the other V/MCs and store cards.
