I spent the summer paying down debt in preparation for a new mortgage loan. My scores (especially F9) got a nice boost.

I'd like to app for a decent card before the NFCU Platinum hits my reports and my UTIL goes back up. I was thinking about Wells Fargo Cash Wise (my DD already goes there), DCU (just joined last month) and/or Chase Freedom Flex. Citi doesn't like me and BOA always sends banking offers, but I am pretty sure I'm still on their black list.
Best chances at approval this weekend? Anyone pull Fico 9s other than Navy or PenFed?? Of course I'd like to cash in on a nice SUB and get a decent SL. But I was hoping I could get approved for a product that would grow with some SP CLI if possible. I know I might be asking for the impossible here, but you guys haven't failed me yet.
Thanks in advance!!! You guys never steer me wrong!
I believe bbva uses Experian F9 and they also use vantage score 3.0
@addicted_to_credit @Thank you! I'll check them out.
You might take a gander here?
Oh yeah! Thanks @M_Smart007 Based on the tables I think I need to leave Chase alone for now...I've had the Freedom forever with same SL and no offers. Thinking about Wells, BB&T or PNC maybe...
@addicted_to_credit I am not eligible for BBVA as I live in DE.
Good luck !
So much for striking while the iron was hot....Both Chase and Wells gave me the instant denial. Chase pulled EX and TU then denied me for too many recent INQ. I called back to recon explaining that I only had one inq on TU before them and it Navy Federal and one new account showing PenFed. The rep listened and repeated "no" and added my paid collections and charge off as a reason...also threw in my student loans. I asked if I could have a PC from the Freedom to the Flex I was transferred and told that they could make the change anytime, but I wanted both not just one. I was transferred back to Lending services and this rep told me that I had too much available credit. Really?
At least they didn't say my score was too low.
I called into check the status of the WF CashWise app - too many inquiries. So, I am thinking that I won't be able to get anything else on my way back to the garden.
Should I consider the Chase bank account offer since that is all they are offering at the moment? I took the BoA banking offer that expires 12/31...$300 SUB.
My reports are unlocked until Monday. I will see what I can do. lol - add a PNC denial to the pile. I didn't try to recon Wells Fargo or PNC. Maybe I'll do that now.
Once the denials start piling up, it's definitely a sign to stop.
@OmarGB9 Agreed. I had a good run, Wells recon is pending now but I'm not too hopeful. I'll try to recon PNC as well. My EX INQ are sitting at 5 now thanks to my bright idea to strike while my UTIL was lower than normal. In the end a DCU approval with a SP still blows my mind. Should have done that from the beginning.
