The op is piggybacking as an AU from one of his parents' cards.. Hence the score..
Yep, but with just 6 months of it, was a little surprised at the score. Also interested to know which card approved for.

Sure, I was approved for the Amex Delta Gold with a 1k limit. Right now via the amex app my fico score says 704 (last updated 4/11/18) and my credit karma vantage score says 729 (last updated a few days ago).... The only histroy I have besides the amex I got approved for (which hasnt even reported as of this writing) is 6 months as an AU on a Best Buy visa.

IKR? I remmber that was what held me back with several CC when I first started out in the ealy 90's, lack of Credit history!
Some people even used to say that it was actually worse than bad credit. Though it didn't console me very much.
