I never got an auto CLI on any of my Barclay accounts and that is fine as 10K limits is more than what I needed. Upon approval of my 3rd Barclaycard within 18 months but with a limit of 2,5K I thought I had reached their internal limit and this would be the reason for the low limit approval on my US Airways card. When I called to juggle CLs around the rep told me there is an offer on the Arrival+ for a CLI and APR reduction. I was more than surprised and happily accepted to immediately move over to the Sallie Mae where I have just moved 5K to US Airways. At the end of the call the rep asked if she could do anything else for me so I decided to test my luck with a SP CLI on a brand new account and let her enter the info for US Airways.....bam..another 2K...😉 it made the initial 2,5K to 9,5K in a single call but with multiple actions. It never came to my mind to ask for a CLI with SP on a brand new account. It was a pleasant experience and I will try in 6-8 months to see what will happen to an APR decrease on the US Airways card. For Barclays it is worth to ask if you look for a SP CLI. You might have an offer but unaware without asking.
@masscredit wrote:I had some baddies and tax liens fall off of my TU report this month so I've been waiting for my score to update on their website before I call. Of course this might be the month that it doesn't update. Looking back at my score history that started in May of '14, I see that it doesn't happen every month. I have scores from -
May 2nd
July 7th
Sept 5th
Oct 20th (I think this might be the month that I changed my statement closing date)
Dec 19th
Feb 19th
Aside from the month that I changed the statement closing date, it looks like they provide scores every two months. If that is the case, I'll just wait until this time next month. It might not matter but I rather have more in my favor to possibly provide a better outcome.
I get score updates every month. The last two were only a week apart. Haven't gotten an update for March yet.
09/26/14
10/24/14
11/15/14
12/29/14
01/30/15
02/07/15
March???

Super congrats! That's awesome. And to the person above this post, it's possible. That seems likely because the oldest soft pulls they seem to have are about 2 months old.

I wonder if they keep a general score update schedule (2 months?) and if there is something that triggers it to happen earlier?
Possibly. From Sept. - Dec. of last year, I opened new accounts. Then a couple of derogatory accounts fell off my credit report between mid Jan and early Feb. Nothing major on my reports since then except a few CLIs. However, once these two recent AU accounts appear they may got back to monthly SPs.
Edited for typos

'may get back to' **
Typos don't really matter here (I mean unless the entire thing you write is a typo then it'd be pretty hard to understand).
That's good to know, let us know if over the next few months you only get a SP every 2 months or so. That could be why so many people see different things.
Thanks!
I just noticed that I had a soft pull "account review" inquiry in TU on 3/18, so I just called the 24/7 number but the guy checked both of my cards and he said there was no soft pull CLI available.
I remember going through this almost 6 months ago and the guy told me to wait for the 6 month mark which was two weeks away at that point. Like clock work, on the 6th month mark from last auto CLI, I received a 3200 increase. I'm due for the ACLI on 4/17 so maybe the 3/18 pull will be used for that.
I gave Barclays almost 45K of business last year according to the 2014 annual statement on thier website, all that with a 5k line. I hope they give me a hefty increase this time.

Good luck! I don't know why they're so weird about this!
Arrival card opened 1 year ago this month. FICO score from Discover statement 763. Called the 24/7 analyst number baller referenced on page 1 and asked if there were any offers on my account for a CLI or APR reduction. She said the only way I to process a CLI was to do a hard pull since I opened the account 1 year ago. Income 100k when I originally applied for the card last year though she didn't seem interested when I mentioned my income had increased since then. I declined the hard pull. She transferred me for the APR reduction, but the department was closed which handled those requests.

Dept. I asked for apr reduction is the dept. that gave me my CLI vua SP.. Credit analyst typically don't handle SP CLI's that I have seen. They will do it on initial recon of approval or starting line, but otherwise it appears mainly a no or a YMMV. Seems at least on my case I have done both recon initial SL's on cards and sp cli, in my case I called the number on back of my card asked for apr reduction and transferred and that wasnt available then asked for SP CLI and tha was.. Thinking they are different dept's of some sort
