My Barclay Apple card received an APR reduction and SP CLI on Oct 26th. Today makes 181 days since that happened and 6 statements have cut. I'll probably give them a call next week. Don't know if I'll try for a lower APR again or just ask if this and my other card has any offers available. The Apple card is currently at 14.9%. My Rewards card hasn't received a CLI since April 23 2015 so it's been over a year with no luv. The APR for that card is 20.9%.
I called to see what offers were available today. Asked the first representitive if I could get an APR reduction on my Rewards card. She said she saw an offer but would have to transfer me to someone else. The representive was able to reduce my APR from 21.24% (guess it went up 1/4% when the Feds raised rates) down to 17.24%. I usually don't carry a balance unless I'm taking advantage of a no interest offer but I'll still take it. I then pointed out that this card hasn't received a CLI in just over a year and asked if there was a SP offer available. She said there was nothing else available. I then asked if there were any offers available for my Apple Rewards card. Nothing at all for that one.
I was slightly tempted to go for the HP but I don't need it. I wonder if one HP would cover both cards? Still not worth it though. I rather use a HP for a new CL that will give me a $10-$15K limit instead of doing it for a few thousand dollar increase.

Thanks for your data points (as always) masscredit. Glad you got the APR down...it's still kind of high but less so. I'm also curious about the HP...in theory it makes sense that one would be able to cover both. If they tell you that they can only do one I would hang up, call back and ask another rep for a CLI on the second card and let them know that you have a recent HP from Barclays. Chances are they'll be able to use that same HP.
This is all speculation. Gamble at your own risk.
My Barclay is 13 months old and never received a SP Auto CLI. I called in and immediately after I asked for one, she said SP CLI is not available on your account.
I have two Barclay Cards (Rewards and Williams Sonoma) both opened about 8 months ago. Neither have received a CLI. I called for the first time today and inquired about an APR reduction. The representative who took the call stated that my accounts are currently under review so she could see nothing. I asked why they were under review and she stated it's a regular periodic review.
I have no SP's from Barclay on my report since last month. I pay off each card in full each month. Should I call back or would this representative have access to the correct information?
Edit/Update: I called back and spoke to someone else. She said she couldn't tell me about an APR reduction, only that she can't see anything. She did not say that my accounts were under review. Instead she said accounts are periodically reviewed and if there is a reduction, they will let me know. I asked if she could tell if the accounts have ever been reviewed and she said she doesn't know. She also indicated there was no one else I could talk to for more information.
Oh well, maybe next time
Okay it's been 6 months and 7 days ( December 18, 2015 ) since I called in for a SP cli and APR reduction..
they lowered my APR on my Sallie Mae card from 13.24% ------> 10.24%
and a SP of $4k. Taking me from $13,600---------> 17,600
i believe for a lot of you guys that have comment yiur success here 6 months ago, it's probably time for you to call back in for a reduction and cli ...
i dont use the card much at all... Just every few months for a tank of gas to keep it active.
Let me start by saying Barclay is not the best card I have (by far). I normally only run utilities through it because of the rewards. I did call to get an APR reduction and was transferred to a credit specialist. I received a 4% APR reduction, 0% on new purchases until January 2017 and a whopping $500 SP CLI...It was worth the call...
How long have you had an open account with Barclay? 2 years
What date did you get a soft pull CLI? 6/25/16
Was this your first CLI with Barclay or not? Yes
(If you want to include this: How much % was the increase?) - 30%
I've had Barclay Rewards (Apple at first) for 15 months and haven't received a auto CLI. Should I call in? I haven't used the card since April.
Edit: Barclay is pretty tough (called analyst). I have a zero balance with them and it was a no go.
