Are there any recent Barclay Ring Auto CLI's and/or SP CLI's? Thanks and please let us know.
Since Ring has the low APR, it's not possible to call in and try the APR reduction strategy.
Just called in about Arrival card (converted a few months ago from Arrival Plus) and interest rate was lowered from 19.25% to 18.25% and got a CLI of 20%. I am cardmember since January 2014 and had current credit limit since March 2015.
Asked for a BT offer and was told I had nothing (for some reason I haven't had one in over a year). Then I asked about APR decrease. Was put on hold for 5 second and he came back said something was available and transfered me to the specialist. She said she could lower APR and do an increase without a pull after I gave income info.
Last week I called for an APR reduction on my 16 month old rewards card. CS transferred me to another specialist. I was informed they could reduce my rate from 24 to 23 percent. I accepted. She then informed me that I was eligible for 0% APR until Jan 1 which I also accepted. I then asked if I was eligible for CLI. She looked and said I was eligible for a $1200 increase which I also accepted. I hung up the phone pleased as I didn't expect to get anything.

This is one reason that Barclaycards can be very worth it. Yes, the Apple and Rewards cards do start out with higher APR, but I've also experienced getting both cards down to quite a low APR and having some nice auto CLi's when I used the card very heavily and made large payments.
I usually left some sort of smaller balance on one or both cards and did not PIF (Barclay seems to like that as well when you leave a small balance), but made very large payments and used the card very heavily.
Most of the time, you will need to have the card for 1-2 years of solid usage and payments before being able to get really low APR reductions as masscredit mentioned above.
I've since traded in the Apple and Rewards cards on a Barclay Ring, but they were good cards to have and I was able to get the APR lowered a good bit using the above methods.
I still cant get a SP CLI WTH???????????????????
I've had the Ring since 11/15, sorry, not much info: SL 12.5k, no auto cli's, no SP offers on website (like Citi). My high balance has only been around $350, usually PIF. Don't want to rock the boat and get a CLD!
I have yet to see one from them in a year, they don't lik me.

Don't feel like lonesome george.
I didn't see not a single CLI in over 2 years. I managed to PC over to the Ring Card but that also cost me a HP just for that.
So i finally threw in the towel with them and closed the Ring Card and never looking back again.
There are way too many much better lenders who believe in customer satisfaction and will reward you for good card management.
I apped for Rewards $500 limit and got CLI to $1250 6 months later and was approved for Frontier last week for $2500. I will call and see if I can get a CLI on my Rewards as I really want it to be at least $2500-$3000.
