I'm waiting to see if I see any auto luv from them on my JetBlue Plus. Sixth statement should be closing today. Approved back in March with a 4k SL when my TU was 715 or so. I've put 8.5k in spend across the card since getting it and today TU stands at 767. How soon after statement close do they usually bump up the CL if they are going to? If not I'll probably call in and ask about an APR reduction and ask if there are any other offers showing.
I just called Barclaycard CSR and asked for a soft pull CLI. It has been seven months with the card. She stated it would be a hard pull if I wanted to apply for a CLI, or I can wait for an auto CLI, which is a soft pull. So wait I will...
Looking for some feedback on when & how to ask for a SP CLI from Barclay on my Arrival+ WEMC. Current Credit Line is $10,000 trying to get to $15,000 and transfer a balance of $8,000-$10,000 over for +/- 90 days @ 0%. Just recently got BT offers showing 0% till March 2018.
Background:
03/27/16 - Apped & DECLINED, called analyst backdoor # to recon, spoke with analyst, asked about high util % on 1 account. APPROVED with $5000 SL
03/30/16 - PAID 1/2 of balance on high util account before it cycled knocking it down to under 30% utilization
04/09/16 - Called analyst backdoor # after getting alert that TU report had updated with lower balance, had used card for about $1000. Asked for a SP CLI, had to explain that another analyst had told me they could SP CLI in the first 30days of account opening. She relented, SP TU and I got CLI $5000, new total credit line $10,000
Stmt Date Charges Payments Closing Balance
04/19/16 $3214.77 Pmts : $3212.82 Bal: $16.95
05/19/16 $5411.04 Pmts: $2516.95 Bal: $2911.04 (included a $5000 BT + $150 Fee @ 0%)
06/19/16 $0.00 Pmts: $2911.04 Bal: $0.00
07/19/16 $415.56 Pmts: $415.56 Bal: $0.00
08/19/16 $281.23 Pmts: $281.23 Bal: $0.00
09/19/16 $964.75 Pmts: $964.75 Bal: $0.00 ----Statement cuts on 19th, will be my 6th statement since getting the card.
TU Stats - FICO 08 705 or better (Should Be on 9/20) - Overal Utilization of 8% ($7500 between 3 accounts) nothing over 50% util, Last TU HP was in May 2016, Sync Amazon card.
Anyone know if you would still receive an auto-CLI after the 6th statement cuts even if you successfully requested a Soft Pull CLI before the 6 months?
I spoke with retentions the day before my 5th statement cut and they offered me a $200 CLI which I accepted. Any chance I would still receive an auto-CLI after the 6th statement cuts?
I posted this in a different thread last week -
Neither of my Barclay cards have seen any CLI action for close to a year. The last time my Rewards card received an increase was in April of '15. My Apple card received one last October. I've been calling once in awhile to see if they could reduce my APRs. I then ask if there are any promotions or SP CLIs available. That was working before but it hasn't in awhile. I tried doing that today. I figured I'd start with the Rewards card because it gets the most use and I'd like to see that one grow more. The front line representitive stopped me in my tracks. She told me the current APR is the lowest available for my account at this time. And of course there were no other promotions available. I didn't bother asking about my Apple card.
I looked into my account tonight and found that my Barclay Apple card received an auto-CLI. It would from $4400. to $7400. That's about a 68% increase. A very nice surprise! Funny thing is this card doesn't get much use but it's received more increases than my Rewards card. That one is pretty much my daily driver. I gave the Apple card some extra use over the last few weeks then bam... an increase. It might be a coincidence or the extra use helped make it happen.

I'm wondering why I can no longer get past the front line CSRs? Maybe I've been getting the wrong onces when I call.
Sorry for the late response but I have a couple of suggestions.
Are you calling at the same time of day? (IE: Calling when you get home from work) If so, you might want to try at different hours throughout the day, if you're calling late you might be getting the after-hours service, which generally speaking is in another country.
Are you calling the regular CSR line? If you call a recon line, I know they don't have these offers.
I call the number on the back of the card. The time varies. I try not to call after 5 because I don't want to end up with a rep in a far off land.

Try the backdoor # for the credit analyst... I wouldnt use the regular customer service # from the card if I was calling...
