I guess I can add my .02
I believe this is my first post. This board has provided quite a boost for me overall, but to stay on topic:
How long have you had an open account with Barclay?
Rewards card - Since May of 2014 Starting balance $1,500
Sallie Mae card - Feb of 2015 Starting balance $2,700
What date did you get a soft pull CLI?
Rewards was Nov 2014, 6th statement auto CLI from $1,500 to $2,800
Most recent is today - May 22 2015 - I called the customer service number on the back of the card, spoke to the Relationship Manager and asked if I could speak to someone about my APR for the SM card (22.99, but PIF or nearly every month). I was transferred to an Account Specialist who told me there was no offer available to reduce the APR, as I've only had the card for 3 months. However, she mentioned an offer was available to increase my credit limit without a hard inquiry. This was really my intent for calling, so when she asked if I was interested, I said of course. After asking my income, I was offered an additional $1,500. I asked if she could see any offers available for the Rewards MC, and she said yes, a SP CLI was available for that one as well. After repeating the income disclaimer verbatim, I was offered the same $1,500. So, $3,000 in total CLI, with one account just a few months old.
I run $800-$1,200 monthly through the SM Card, $100-$200 through the Rewards. I originally BT'd $1,000 to the Rewards, have a 0% promo through Aug and paid off the BT several months ago, currently $175 balance, statement just cut on the 19th. SM no 0% promo, but I got it and use it for the 5% cashback categories, current $530 balance, statement cuts on the 5th.
Was this your first CLI with Barclay or not?
No
(If you want to include this: How much % was the increase?)
54% for Rewards and 56% for SM
TU Fico 730
Util ~10%
$26,100 CL before increases today

Helpful thread!
Just called the number on the back of the card, asked about lowering my APR% and they transferred me to a specialist.
The specialist said they weren't able to lower my APR and to may be try again in 6 months. She asked if there was anything else before I went and I asked about a CLI with no HP and she said they did have that available.
Card approved, not arrived or activated just approved, 5 May. CLI approved 23 May.
Haven't even used it for a purchase yet.
40% CLI approved!
All told call took less than 5 minutes. All thanks to this thread!
i had apple visa for 8 months started at 1300 then auto cli to 1700 at 6 month mark. i tried to pc to rewards mc over the phone , he told me it wasn't possible , that i need to apply and then move limits. i agreed to that . another 6 months later i got another 800 auto increase. december 2014 i applied to arrival , it was an automatic denial no hard pull. due to bk7 . But two days later i got an auto increase on my rewards mc of 3000. they refused to grant me another card but they also matched my highest credit limit at the time.
Just called about my Barclay Rewards card. I asked about lowering the APR and got transferred to the specialist. She said the card was too new (April 2015), and to wait 6 months. Asked if anything else and inquired about CLI. She said nothing was available and reminded me the card was very new. I thanked her and ended the call. This was what I expected.
I will say though, Barclay has been good to me so far. I opened the Barclay Ring in January 2015 with a $5k CL. When I got the Rewards card in April they allowed me to move $4,500 to the new Rewards card so I do have a total of $7k already. Long term I want a Sallie Mae and then move the last $500 from Ring to the Rewards or Sallie Mae if I get it and close the Ring.

I guess 6 months is their sweet spot! Congrats to the ones who continue to try this to learn more about one of the strangest prime lenders in the market.
I called last week after reading this thread. I called the number on the back of the card. Spoke to a representative and asked, "I was wondering if I could have an APR reduction?" She put me on hold and I was expecting to be transferred to a "Retentions" Just under a minute she replied, "You are still currently in the 0% interest period and I would wait until this ends. Once this period ends you can call back and ask for a reduction." I said, "Thank you, do you know when this period ends? Also, what will the APR be when it does end?" She replied, "It ends on July 10th and will be at 22.99% APR." She asked, "Is there anything else I can help you with?" I asked, "Is there an offer for a SP CLI?" She said, "I would wait until you call back for the APR reduction." I figured she would turn me down for both, especially the SP CLI (the main reason I called) because she was a representative and didn't transfer me to "Retentions." I suppose I will give it another shot around the middle of July and see what happens. I will be back to update in a month or so!

Please do and let us know what happens! I am thinking that if they touch your APR at all the system will probably wipe out your promotional 0%. Also, that it may be easier to do both things at the same time.

I will definitely post an update! If I remember, I will PM you once I do! Like I said, I could care less about the APR as I typically don't carry a balance. However, that was the reason I called because of the 'loophole' if you want to call it that, which I read here.
