I wonder why we sometimes get transferred from the representivive that is in a far off country and sometimes we don't?

On 2/24/2016 I got a Barclay Rewards MC, $2,500 SL, TU FICO 703
I attempted to recon the SL but no luck at that time
I just got my CC statement and it shows a $4K CLI bringing my total limit for this card to $6.5K
TU FICO is around 712 now
I charge about $1,2000 every month on this card
I don't have a current TU report that shows SP's so I'm not 100% sure they did an SP. It certainly was not an HP, since I did not initiate the CLI request. It was pretty much automatic.
Best of luck all!
I was approved for $3500 on the Arrival + back on 2/12/16 and received the card around 2/19. Since then, I have been approved for four other cards ranging from $15-20K on all of them. I used the card initially to get my bonus, but wanted to keep utilization low, so I started using the other cards with higher limits and havent spent a whole lately on the card. Should I be expecting an auto CLI anytime soon? Just over six months now with the card.

yes, I would say it's a likely a CLI will appear in your next statement after the 6 months mark, that's how it was for me.
Keep us posted please

My impression from Barclays is that the sweet spot for getting auto CLI's from Barclays is average account balance between 10% and 30% (not reported balance, but intramonth balance).

I think it depends of the card and the CL on that card. I have never received any auto CLI from Barclays. The Ring now auto in the last two years and the AAdvantage card I have requested a CLI on my own which they granted via SP
How common are auto-CLIs? I'm looking at the history for my two Barclay cards. The Apple card received 3 of those and 2 SP CLIs. I swapped limits at one point. That's why the limit for that card is only $4400. My Rewards card hasn't received any auto-increases but it has received 2 SP increases and then there were 4 denials.
I wonder if I would have a better chance getting an increase if I run more spending though the Apple card. The limit is lower so the utilization percentage would be higher.
I called Barclaycard today regarding my Apple Rewards card using the number on the back of my card. I've had the card exactly 6 months and 1 day. I requested a reduction of my interest rate and was transfered to a specialist. It was all very straightforward and pleasant, and she gave me very modest improvements with no hard pull.
SL $2000 and APR 27.24.
New: $2500 and APR 26.24
I have a single utility bill going to this card monthly and auto pay in full. It used about 10-15% of the credit limit before this increase.
Thank you for the very useful thread.
