You should ask for the 30K. Bet you’d get it. If they ask for the IV, give it to them, or hit the back space:

On January 21st, I was approved for the BCE at a starting limit of $10K. I did not want to go for the full $30K because I did not want to go through the hassle of an IV. Also, I was concerned that my salary of $65K might raise some eyebrows with that amount of a limit request increase. So, I went with an amount that I never even dreamed about two years ago when I started my credit journey but felt could realistically be approved which was $22K. Instantly approved. Not bad at all.
