Yeah, I've seen the threads about how much of a trainwreck the merger has been, but are their prequals solid or more along the lines of NFCU where they're not to be trusted too far?
Thanks.

Thanks.
Personally I'd read this thread involving several of us who were Preapproved and "Approved" and then hold off for at least another month. The Preapproval/Approval process right now is it's own train wreck.
I prequaled for all cards on the 20th and immediately applied and was approved for 9k. Thought about applying for another card at the same time but then read the threads that @bigseegar is talking about and was worried. I think if you Prequal and apply for only one card you will be fine. I know @FinStar was also approved this month and sent his card. I received my "your card is on its way" email on Saturday with last four digits of card showing, the card also reported my new card with its limit on Sunday, so I'm know I am golden!
just don't app for more than one, if you are worried. Oh and mine was only a SP on Eq! I haven't seen any HP for this card! I believe if you Prequal before apping it's usually a SP only. It's worth a try!
Thanks all. I pulled the trigger on it and all appears to have gone smoothly. Approved for $8k. Lets see if the rest of the process works.
