Well I'm back on here again, needing some help. I once had good credit, but due to family sickness, loss of jobs, living off the cards, miss managing and ect, I had to file bankruptcy. was diss charged in September 2019. Since then I have had no credit lines until 6 months ago I got a vehicle loan. I'm waiting on my sixth payment to post. I am wanting to rebuild. My original goal was to buy me some land and a home but that didn't happen. I'm now back to focusing on that again. I'm thinking about applying for a couple cards bu dont know where to start. This time I just want a couple for building my credit. Last time I had about all the major company's and burnt them all. I checked capital one pre qualification and they recommend me the master card and also the quicksilver one and the secured card. They was one of the companys that i burnt. I don't feel good about my chances. Can some you all help me out and hive me some advice about building after BK. I desperately want to own my own place someday and this time around I will not allow myself to get behind on my cards.

I would try to join a credit union and get a secured card.
@workingprogress - congratulations on starting your rebuild. The best advice I can give you is to visit the rebuilding section's bankruptcy forum. There are numerous people who have successfully rebuilt using the data points listed there... including which lenders are bk friendly. By the way, Cap1 has been known to be friendly even when IIB. Best wishes.
Capital One seems to be one of the more forgiving lenders discussed in this forum. I included them in my Chap 7 and they let me back in 3 months after discharge. While not a guarantee of approval, their prequal tool is also pretty reliable.
As stated in the previous post, I would definitely check out the BK section or even move your post over for guidance with your rebuild. The wealth of information is invaluable and would be super helpful to you. Good Luck 😊
Thank you so much for the advice. Its overwheming. Just like the first time trying but more intense since I've done been there and failed. I hated that I had to do what I did.
apperciate yout advice. Thank you a lot.

You’re very welcome! It is overwhelming at the beginning but will get better as you put your rebuild plan together and take action on it. Don’t beat yourself up. It may sound cliché but it really does matter more how many times you get back up rather than how many you fall.
I saw this thread today and thought of your post: Capital One Burned Hope it helps!
Guys, Guys, Guys...I got the courage up to try for the quicksilverone and got a instant approval for $3000 OMG i feel so blessed. Thank you lord, and thank you guys for the replies. No dealing with secured cards. I can't believe they let me back in after I done them wrong. Thank you capital one!
Congratulations, @workingprogress!
