Re: US Bank Altitude Reserve 7-10 days msg, then 3-4 days, denial?

I got the same 7-10 day message when I applied for the Elan MCP card last week.
Same people handle underwriting for USB and Elan, and it took 7 days for an approval.

Back to gardening until Late February 2026.

Grats to you. and Thanks for the encouragement. My biggest fear is all the dang inquiries I have on EX. But I'll def recon if I get denied.

Latest update..whenever I call the automated application status line, they can't locate my app. I assume it has to do with the original duplicate apps...I guess it's just sitting in an underwriter's long cue of new apps to manually.

I'll call underwriting Monday afternoon as it will have been about 2.5 business days since my application. I'm just concerned about my new app velocity having opened 3 new accts in 12 months and being 1/6 now. I'd be willing to take the minimum 5K to get the card and grow it organically...

Same thing happened to my application! I know your anxious, but you should receive an email in couple of days.

For some reasons, USBank like to do manual review for Altitude Reserve.

Yes, the anxiety kills me. I'm much better without outright denials..haha. Human nature.

Re: US Bank Altitude Reserve 7-10 days msg, then 3-4 days, denial?

Called underwriting this morning and was denied due to number of new acct and inquiries. I can't dispute that. If I really want to get in, I'll need to bite the bullet and garden till 0/12 or maybe open up a checking acct with them. Lesson learned again - patience and gardening is key with them 😊

Thank you. I know what I need to do...I just need to be committed to the gardening and if I truly want the card, I'll stick to it.
