I'm at 17K and 18k respectfully with the cash+ and Alt. card. with 3-4 years on them now. Credit score high 760-780s, 7-8 history. Some usage 5-10 per month down to 0 a few months, but yea, they are very leinant for me. Let's see what happens near 20K. but I am just 5K away from say 50% credit extension to income ratio.

@FicoMike0 I'm not seeing the TURD score on my CLI decline letter. All I see is a FICO 10 score of 810.
@TrapLine I work for a financial institution there are certain transactions which require a one time pass code. With fraud at the very high level that it is the one time passcode is just a security step. US Bank believes as well as all other banks and credit unions that the customer should have and spend their money not the fraudster.
Personal experience, recently I was trying to apply for a credit card on line. I kept running into error. I called customer service they did the usual verification. I was transferred to underwriting and more questions and a one time pass code. I was approved for the card.
You family members trying to impersonate another family member. Sometimes it is benign and sometimes it is not. Sometimes it is a fraudster trying to impersonate the customer.
I when I was helping my mom when I was not on an account I would identify myself and my mom as their customer. The agent would follow the procedures for the security of the account.
It seems like this TURD score that some posters report appearing on their USBank decline letters is not common to all USBank declines. It could be the TURD score is only shared by USBank when it is really low (higher possibility of default) and/or when it plays a significant role in the decline, as opposed to other reasons such as too many inquiries or new accounts.
Definitely seems to be customer-specific.
