Update APPROVED Chase Application Question-

Happy Holidays and New Year everyone. Hope everyone and their families had a good week.  

So here is my question, kinda dumb but need to make sure I got this correct.  I applied on the 27th and 28th of Novemer for Chase SW and United Visa, got approved for both.  Then on the 30th of November appd for Chase Marriot and instantly denied, for "Too many request for credit or opened accounts with us". I should have read the forums as I this is common, they will not approve 3 apps (co-branded_) in 30 days.  They did pull EQ for the Marriot but not EX (they usually pull both for me). 

What date should I go off to apply for the marriot, post 30 days? Is it the last app that was approved or the last app that was submitted? I think it would be the 30th so then I would apply on December 31st 2015? Correct?

UPDATE Well I bit the bullet today. Called the app line and noticed my other 2 fell off, had only one app on file for the Marriot on 30-Nov-15, with the "We will notify you in 7-10 days"

So I appd this morning for the Marriot again, got the screen of death, called the app line and it says "we wil notify you in 2 weeks"

Wonderinfg if I should call, maybe verification? 

Update 4 23 pm EST. my patience got the best of me and I called the verification line. They sent a text message to my phone and asked me to verify my address. I came back with an $11,000 approval!!!!! No questions asked

 Wouldn't focus on the exact date.  I'd wait at least two months as there is no guarantee that they will approve the Marriott card after 30 days.  They like to see some use on existing cards before they will approve you for more credit.

Ah okay then, I do have a freedom that I was approved for in March of 2015. I used it then paid in full in July.  Then brought it back out for the Amazon 10% cash back this month.  I charged 2500.  I paid already 1000$ and plan to pay it off by the next biling cycle of Jan 16-2016.

I apped for the Chase freedom in June. That's before I realized I could double app. I then double apped for IHG and Hyatt in Sept. IHG instantly approved and Hyatt pending verification(eventually approved and recieved the card 3 weeks later). This month I double apped for AARP and Disney ..both instantly approved(both cards showed up in less than 7 days). As alluded to by Irish, giving the accounts time to report and establsh a record seems to help. My Chase apps have been running roughly 90 days apart. So far no denials.

Well there you go! Ill sit on my hands till next February.  Thanks for the info!

Only way to know for sure is call the auto status line. As long as the system recognized you don't have more than 2 apps in the system, you should be good to pull the trigger if you decide to app again. I made the same mistake when I submitted 3 apps within 30 days.

Just called and I have all 3 apps there. Turns out I did the SW and United on the 28th, same day. Good to know about the app line ! TY
