What Credit Score Does Citi pull for Applications?

I received an offer in the mail from Citi to apply for the Simplicity card. It is so appealing as I'm looking for a 0% for BT. It's for 21 months and 0% for 12 months for purchases. I have 4 inquiries on EX...2 inquiries on EQ...and 1 inquiry on TU.

What are my chances to be approved? I don't want to waste HP. I guess it depends on which credit score/report they pull. I also have 3 new acounts in the last year. My scores ranges from 740 to 790. They used to be over 800 but they tanked because of the new accounts.

"3 new accounts in the last year."  What month was the last new  account? 

Citi HP EXP for my AA card in Aug  and has SP my  EQ thereafter (in FL).

They pulled EQ in my experience.

When I apped my Citi Double cash back card in 2019 they pulled Experian and Equifax ..... My Citi Costco card in 2020 was Equifax only

Actually...I forgot, the new account (auto loan) that I opened a year ago  was paid off  2 week ago...but it is still showing because the company didn't report it yet. They told me it will be reported by the end of this month.

The 3 new accounts (an auto loan and 2 credit cards) were opened in the last 2 months. That's my concern...

Thanks. So it's possible they will pull EX and EQ for Simplicity card app.

It may depend on where you live.

Texas here, and Citi pulled EQ for Custom Cash, Diamond Preferred,  Home Depot, and Macys for me. All CLIs over the years have Also been EQ on all 4 cards.

IIRC, Citi likes to see 0/6 at the minimum, so your concern is valid.

They usally pulled EQ for me, but I believe they pulled EQ and EX for my Custom Cash.
