When does Penfed cli button show up?

I see a number of people post that a cli button shows up on their account at a certain point, when?

I have a power cash rewards since december and so far i havent seen any button.

Seems kind of random and many people report that it doesn't work too well when it is there. (Website is not their strong point.) Best to call. If it's been at least six months, you're eligible. That doesn't mean you'll get it, and it is a HP, but their CLIs tend to be pretty generous.

Was 4 months for me. HP and denied. Have fun! or just wait until they fix pre-approvals (if ever).

I don't know if I had the button or not before being eligible, but after 6 months, I asked and was approved for a CLI (HP as noted above), albeit only for a small amount ($1k).

Thanks, i never looked in that area of my account page. i have that link now but i think i will wait a while longer to request a cli.

M-Smart mentioned in a post that a cli request with penfed is most effective 9 months to a year in.

M-Smart mentioned in a post that a cli request with penfed is most effective 9 months to a year in.

I have 2 PenFed credit cards, one has the button, one doesn't. I don't think it's meaningful, as I doubt that I could get a CLI on either.

I may opt to app for a 2nd card with them in the spring for a bt offer rather than a cli. honestly i never get anywhere near my present 7.5k cl

I got my PF card 20 months ago. Never had CLI option but I mostly use their App.
