Re: Who is sending you mailers?

I opened the Hilton Honors offers I got yesterday. Spend $1K and get 100K points. It seems like an incredible deal. I don't travel very often. On a normal year I spend maybe $800 on hotels, maybe $300 on tolls (which I believe Chase counts as travel). I do spend a large portion of my money on dining which is currently being covered by Marvel.

I'm honestly not too familiar with Hilton Honors but it sounds like a great offer.

Re: Who is sending you mailers?

Right now...or at least last 6-9 months...I received no mailers outside a few from the sub-sub prime lenders.

I have Amex,Disco C1 and a Amazon Prime store card, and yet I still get occasional crap mailers.

Lucky I dont want that many cards or I'd take it personally...lol

Re: Who is sending you mailers?

No mailers really for anything.. Even junk mail in general has dried up.. Am I the only one or has others regular mail just dry up as well along with BT check, etc.. I still have BT offers, just not any checks for last several months.  Although I still on some lenders can BT cash into checking which is same as checks.  Strange not having mail box full of junk mail.

Re: Who is sending you mailers?

BBVA wants me to get a personal loan, Wells Fargo wants me to get a Cash Wise, Best Egg wants me to get another personal loan, Disco wants me to do a BT, and while I know that it's not a mailer per se, Service CU emailed me to tell me I am prequalified for a personal loan.

Re: Who is sending you mailers?

Just the tons of Discover personal loan mailers I've been getting for as long as I've been a cardmember.

I've noticed that too.  I'm gonna miss the junk mail this winter....firestarter.

Re: Who is sending you mailers?

I haven't received any mailers in the last 5 months. But that's also about the time I had 2 new inquiries on EX and placed a security freeze at EQ/TU/EX. I never opted-out.

The Discover card showed up on reports 5 months ago, and AMEX at 4 months.

Prior to that, with only 1yr 1mo total revolving credit history and 2 open cards on my file, AMEX and Discover were sending mail pretty much every other week. I was going for them next anyway, and AMEX was pushing the BCE with $200 SUB, with Discover pushing the It Cashback.

(And I still got 1 more from each a week or two after they both approved me on Valentine's Day.)

Capital One backed off on the bi-monthly Promotional Inquiries (shown via reports pulled from annualcreditreport.com) as my scores continued to rise at AoYA 1yr.

Merrick and Synchrony gave up around AoYA 7mo when my TU 8 score reached 742, with the other 2 very close behind.

Getting pre-approvals from First Premier and Surge MasterCard

I am getting pre-approval emails and letters from First Premier and Surge MasterCard. Almost every week or every other week. I am sending them to shredder. I grew beyond those cards.
