Hi,
I apply for the chase amazon visa card, and it gaves me a 30 days message ,
when I call the automated message to check status it gaves me the 7-10 message.
I suppose that it have been declined. and yesterday I receive a letter from them to verify information.
I am trying this card for almost one year and always get declined
the last two times they ask me to call they declined it. Should I call ? or I do not call and try to apply again next month?
its very frustated to me everytime I call and get declined. why some banks ask to call to decline? does anyone have the same experience?
If they sent a letter asking to verify information, it may not be a denial. Give them a call, they may just need to verify your identity.
Good luck!

There have been many manual reviews for this card this year! It happened to me and many others in here.
I would say you have a better chance for approval then denial. Give them what they are looking for and it could turn to approval!

You should definitely call and verify the information.
I got the same thing; it ended up being declined, 754 Fico, 10% credit usage.
UPDATE: I called them today , they verify my information ,
and told me that they will need a copy of a document from me.
I receive they email regarding the document and I sent it . Is this good or bad? does anyone here had to sent documents?what happen next?
Few months back when I apped for Chase Amazon and was waiting for their decision, I escalated to a supervisor for quicker answer! He told me the fact that your app was not denied right away, it has a chance for approval!
I think you probably going to receive a decision in 24-48hrs. Hopefully is a good news. 🤞
UPDATE: Application status change from 7-10 days message to 2 weeks message after send document. Is that a good sign or not?

As long as its not a denial, its a good sign! Hang in there...
Call and verify, you may also check if which report they use or might be able to request a different bureau to be pulled. My first CFU card i had to call in and verify myself because i had a fraud alert. For my Amazon Prime card i recon'd because they pulled my lowest score from EQ instead of EX.
