how does this work

hi im kevin ive got a sucured card and i have not missed a payment in 31 months december i will try toget a regular credit card and my score is 657 in last 6 months what do you think?

Check the Capital One pre-appoval site and see what comes up if you get a screen showing a fixed apr rather than a range you are probably good to go.

This is how it works, you need 3 lines of credit to report, maybe get 2 more, even small ones, with the higher APR, to get the prime cards later with lower APR. gotta start somewhere. check rebuilding credit if need be in forum

Which bank was your secured card with? Did it graduate or is it a permanent secured card?
