I was approved today for a Delta Gold Amex card. I am 5 years post-bankruptcy (filing date) and I showed up in AMEX's pre-approval system for each of their Delta cards. They even offered their higher bonus. Went ahead and was approved for a $1000 limit. It is currently the lowest limit out of all my current cards, but happy to finally get accepted. I have applied 3 times prior for this card. The score they pulled was 659 from Experian. Currently at about 12% utilization out of a $42,000 total limit. I was not planning on applying anywhere so I was not careful to pay in full any of my cards before the statement hit. I now have cards from Navy Federal(2) Citi(1) Discover(1) Cap1(2) Ikea Comenity(1) and now AMEX. The only card left I am trying to get will be the chase sapphire. Everyone's recovery will be different. Later this year my late payments will finally fall off.
