So the final card I applied for in my card spree was an AMEX Gold Delta card, my only card with an annual fee because I knew it would pay for itself since I fly a bunch.
Well yesterday I got my Bank of America Travel Rewards Card with a CL of just $900 which I had applied to before the AMEX so I was a bit worried. When I applied for AMEX they had me call in after clicking submit to confirm my identity because this was my first card, but the representative told me I was approved after verification. I didn't figure to ask the CL then, but
AMEX came through with my highest SL yet by alot! $6000 !
This is my first AMEX card, and this card is nearly 3x my second highest card (Citi Double Cash); my experian when they checked was 742 but overall I'm incredibly happy to have joined the AMEX family!
I do want to ask in advance if I should request the 3x CLI in 61days or just let it be for a bit? I'm pretty content about this amount but would it be a disservice to myself if I don't?
Oh wow! Nice SL. Congrats on the approval!

Super Congrats on your Amex Gold Delta $6,000 SL!
If you are happy with the credit limits you currently have, then it's never
a "disservice" not to go after more. Ultimately, it's about what you want
versus what you can get. With that said, when you feel you're ready for more,
you can always pull the trigger on the 3x CLI as your relationship with Amex
improves over time. Congrats again, and thanks for sharing!
P.S. Many in the forum have reported that Amex allows a "2 for 1": a revolver
card like your Gold Delta + a charge card like the Green or PRG using the same
hard pull. Hard pulls are typically good for 30 days, so it's something to think about.

Thanks for the advice on the 2for1 but at this point I'm trying to avoid more than just 1 annual fee like I have with the Delta card.
I appreciate the heads up though!
