Just a few minutes ago I received an approval email (enclosed below) for Affinity Cash Rewards Visa Signature card with SL of $32,500. I applied for this card yesterday early morning on June 15, 2023...So, the approval came a day later. I have been getting 4 different pre-approved offers from Affinity FCU on my online account as well as thru emails for the last 4-5 months, but I never responded until this time around because I was in garden for the last 7 months until yesterday when I responded to a similar offer from Citi for one of their cards...I might not have responded to this offer because I really don't have any need for anymore credit, but since it is so hard to pass on to this kinda offer then I had no choice just to come out of garderning to grab these offers but I responded to the last day of these offers though....
Affinity FCU immediately pulled from EX yesterday when I applied for this card as I got the alert/notification for it....I have another credit card from Affinity FCU for the last 4 years with the same CL...So, it might be the reason for them to give me the same CL on this card as well...I never applied CLI on that card...I got that CL on other card from the beginning. I hardly use the card, so its a big surprise that rather than closing out that card, they issued me another one and especially with this much CL....I have hardly spent $20 here and there on my that card since it was opened. Now, this card has a SUB of $200 but I am not interested at all to get this SUB because I dont want to spend $20k in 12 months to earn only $200...I am not even responding to Amex targeted offer that I have received lately for their business Platinum card for 200k...So, just for $200 after spending $20k makes no sense whatsoever...It has 17.50 APR which is not bad given how interest rate are lately...Out of those offers which are showing up on my online account, one is for their personal loan which is for $80k which I might consider responding to as well since there will not be additional HP anyway. Two more pre-approved offers I would need to respond to before these two accounts show up on my credit reports....
