I'm happy to report that I recently received an instant online approval for a US Bank Altitude Reserve card with a $20k starting limit. Existing US Bank relationship was only a single credit card (Altitude Connect).

Transunion pull. At time of approval, TU FICO8 was 828. TU inquiries and new accounts were at 0/6, 1/12, and 2/24.

I applied for Altitude Reserve the day after my 6th full statement cut for Altitude Connect.

I read through many myFICO posts about US Bank's tendencies before I decided that it was time for me to jump in. Once I was 0/12 in new accounts and inquiries, I started a relationship by applying for Altitude Connect. I diligently showed moderate and responsible use of Connect for over 6 months and then applied for Reserve. Instant online approval for both cards.
