Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the 61 month post discharge thing applies to Chapter 7s, for Chapter 13s I believe it is 61 months post filing (if Amex wasn't on the burnlist).

I had thought that too but it can be post filing for BK7.  I was approved for my BCP not quite 60 mo post filing BK7 (10 days shy of 60mo post DC).

Edit: was not quote 63mo past filing, but not quite 60 mo past discharge...I think most of ya'll know what I meant .

I'm not 100% certain on the differences on Amex rule between 7 & 13.  Since they've created the Pre-Approval I'd say give it a go when you're within those time frames.
