At the beginning of the month I was approved for Sam's Club MasterCard with a credit line of 2500. I called when my card came and was able to get it up to 7.5k. It was the second Synchrony account approved this month. The first was Stash for a credit line of 4k I was able to get raised to 10k. The Sam's Club also has a high interest rate. I really pushed my luck with Synchrony. I have two other accounts, Care Credit and Amazon. Synchrony was part of my Chapter 13 in 2008. I had almost forgotten that until I looked over old documents. (I haven't posted about my approval until today. That is why I posted this in the approvals section.)
I was persistent when I called and very polite, telling the recon person why I wanted the cli. I realize now that the person I was speaking to really had to work to give me that increase. I also realized how far I had pushed my luck with my 17 new accounts in the last six months of my rebuilding plus the 16 (yes, 16) inquiries just for my new car. My TransUnion has14 inquiries, six for the car. The other car inquiries are on Equifax.
I am am really happy with my acquisitions over the last six months. My first cards were high limits and low interest rates. The last ones not so much.
My lesson from all of this is to continue to enjoy everything while learning the best ways to use the accounts and how to combine some of them in the future. I love reading about other member's new cards! I look forward to being able to join two more credit unions and getting low interest cards with them. Nothing beats that feeling! Until then I hope someone enjoys and perhaps even benefits from this post.
I feel like I have been on a bullet train zooming to where I am now. I am now sitting at the station celebrating and in some cases sympathizing with all of my forum friends. This really is a great place to be!
Edited to add this: Any lessons with your approvals anyone?

You've done a FANTASTIC job of rebuilding... and I know that 'bullet train' feeling all too well!
After the epic journey, it does feel strange to finally be at 'the station'!
