So, I applied for the Apple Card, but half-way through the application process, it prompted me for my full SSN. I remembered that I had locked my TransUnion credit report, so I immediately unlocked it, entered the full 9 digit SSN, and waited for the application to process. To my surprised, I was approved for a $10K credit line and 15.99% interest (not the best interest, but I was happy with the approval.
As soon as I saw the approval, I immediately re-locked my TransUnion credit report. That was 3 days ago, and no hard pull has been processed against TransUnion. I did get a notification from TU that someone tried to access my report while locked.
I'm hoping this translates into no hard pull at all. Has anyone else seen this??
