On 4/16, I checked the online prequalification for BB&T credit cards. I found that I was pre-approved for all three: the Bright, Spectrum Cash Rewards, and Spectrum Travel Rewards. I didnt want another annual fee, so I chose the Spectrum Cash Rewards (Approved $6,500@17.24% after the promotion ends of 0% for 12 months.) I also chose the Bright credit cards (Approved $6,500@15.24% after the promotion ends of 0% for 15 months.) I have screenshot the approvals, along with the preapproval page of all three with the Reservation number. I received both approval e-mails the same day. I called the credit card department today to inquire about the two new approvals and they show nothing in their system. 7 days later! Ive had other higher interest cards with them for a few years, always PIF, never went close to my credit limit. Has anyone else had this to happen to them? Im worried they'll never show up and they won't honor it, and the interest rates and limits are significantly better due to the fact my credit score is 150+ points higher than when I got my other cards. Even the credit card department could not bring up my reservation number. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
