Joe of Miami who is not average, it would be the obvious misdirection to get around the TU pull that BoA does for CLIs.

Not seeing anything wrong here either.  They got a report. Report was accurate.  Pulling the report was their idea, they knew the other one was frozen, he said he wasn't disputing anything.  Everything in the scenario is legit.

Makes me want to freeze my EQ when I app next week.

My guess the issue has something to do with the name attached to this forum. If the forum hosts were to showcase this kind of tactic I imagine some of their business partners would take issue. In this case TU.

Hey guys, just to clear things in my end, i may have misread Ops post incorrectly but i believe at the time of post , as some of you may know when you spend enough time at myFico, you pick up a few things that are generally frowned upon here such as possibly manipulating a creditor to pull a specific file by freezing or other methods and at the time i read it seemed thats what i understood was done. I may be wrong so if so i apologize. I learn from this great site everyday so just wanted to let you know if im wrong i can accept it. Still an amazing approval thoughSmiley Wink

I totally agree.  Freeze a CB with IRS tax liens and use the other CBs which missed the tax liens.  The entire story is a little fishy.  Just IMO.  No flame.

A further research reveals a totally different story:

This is why freezing CRA's to hide something is a no-no to talk about on this forum as you are getting them to pull a more favorable CR which shouldn't be talked about on this forum, there are other forums that this can be discussed on, but not here.  Please avoid more talk on this in this thread so it doesn't get shut down.  Thank you.

Well said.

If anybody has additional questions about this you can send me a PM; it's not up for debate/discussion in the thread.
