Discover -- small SP CLI

Opened DiscoverIT in June of this year, been consistently denied. This morning I tried (all bureaus are up 30+ pts), EQ lowest at 656, TU highest at 697, EX in middle. They immediately approved for $300, taking SL of $1,200 to current CL of $1,500.

I'll take it!

Is there a way to double dip with Discover? Should I call in? Any suggestions? Thanks!

You can call in. I read your post and tried for a CLI and also received $300. Tried to double dip but the CSR said my account wasn't 3 months old yet so she couldn't attempt it. I think you'll have to wait until next time to try. If you do try, and they proceed with it, please come back and post an update!

I called in. I spoke with a Customer Service Rep, she transferred me to the CLI department. The nice gentleman, Danny, said "We can increase your limit to $2,200 without a hard inquiry on your credit profile, adding an additional $700 to the already $300 granted." I immediately accepted. SL when I opened the card in June was $1,200... after online SP CLI and talking to customer service, I'm now at $2,200.
