I opened a personal loan with First Tech back in March and decided to download their mobile app to make payments and monitor my loan progress. Out of curiousity I looked at their other products (I am looking to open a mortgage soon so that was one) and decided to apply for their Odyssey Rewards card. When I submitted the app I received a notification that someone from underwriting would contact me soon (I thought it was the dreaded denial response and that they would send a letter in the mail) but why would they add the underwriting bit if it was a denial. Turns out they just needed to confirm my identity since I added a fraud alert to my account (which I appreciate) and shortly after the conversation I was approved for $25k with an APR of 12%.....WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO0000!
While I was hoping for a larger starting credit limit, I'll take that APR any day of the week!
Edit: I was also just advised there's no limit on cash advances, and no balance transfer fee (plus 0% for the first year) which is insane, but very lovely
Data Points: Experian 696 (at the time, now 715ish), AAOC 2yrs, 6 mos, Utilization 10%, 3 Hard Inquiries (one in dispute), Annual Income 90k (Salary plus bonus)
Congrats on your First Tech Odyssey Rewards approval and your whoppin' $25k starting limit!!!
Can you please share your data points with us so we can learn. What was your scores, income, number of inquiries, number of new accounts in last 12 months, etc. That is very helpful. Thanks.
Congratulations on your First Tech Approval!!

I second this. I recenctly joined and wanted to give my account some age since I'm not in the Portland area. I'm interested in this card as well but it would be helpful to know some about your profile.
Congrats on the strong approval!
Congratulations on your approval!! Great SL and Apr!
Please share your data points. I'm thinking of applying but don't want to waste a hard pull. Can you give us your score, what your inquiries were, average age of open accounts, number of new accounts in last year, etc. this would help many of us. Thanks.
Congratulations on your First Tech approval!
